Why hotel WiFi lets events down
Venue WiFi is built for guests checking email in their rooms, not for hundreds of attendees in one ballroom opening the event app at the same moment, or for an exhibit hall full of booths running demos and scanning badges. In-house internet packages for events are also expensive, often priced per device or per day, and the stream usually ends up sharing the same connection as everyone’s phones.
How we do it
We bring our own network. A bonded 5G system connects to all three major cellular carriers at once and sends traffic over the fastest, least busy connection, with backup built in. Before the event, our network technician reviews the floor plans, walks the venue and plans where every access point goes. On the day, attendees get WiFi sized for your headcount in every session room, exhibitors and sponsors get coverage across the hall or vendor ballroom, and your streaming equipment gets its own separate connection.
One less vendor to manage
Because the same team runs your AV, stream and WiFi, there’s one plan and one crew on site. We coordinate with the venue ahead of time, print branded login signs with your conference materials, and keep a technician watching the network for the whole event.
