In December 2022, Audio Visual Solutions produced a tribute event honoring Jim Gardner, who anchored 6ABC Action News in Philadelphia for more than four decades before retiring that month.
Guests included then Governor-elect Josh Shapiro, former Pennsylvania governors, U.S. senators, civic leaders and many of Jim's colleagues from 6ABC. During the evening, station leadership announced that WPVI's main news studio would be renamed The Jim Gardner Studio.
We provided two video screens for tribute videos and archival footage, stage lighting set up for the cameras recording the event, wireless microphones for the speakers, and uplighting throughout the room.
