StandWithUs at Hilton City Avenue: A Hidden, Seamless Production
- 300
- guests in the room
- 100
- more on a private Zoom stream
StandWithUs brought 300 guests to the Hilton Philadelphia City Avenue in October 2025, with 100 more watching online on a private, invitation-only Zoom stream. It’s a room we know well: StandWithUs has held several events there with us, including one in September 2022. The brief was a room that looked clean and finished, with nothing technical in the guests’ way.
Everything out of sight
We built the show from behind the stage. Two rear-projection screens, each lit by a 10,000-lumen projector, carried the event graphics and live video of the speakers, with the projectors hidden behind them instead of sitting in the room. Our crew set up and ran everything from backstage, so the audience saw only the stage, the screens and the step-and-repeat.
To run the show without being in the room, we sent a dedicated camera feed of the audience to our backstage position, so the crew could follow every moment and cue on time.
Heard clearly, in the room and online
A sound system and wireless microphones covered the ballroom, and a downstage confidence monitor let speakers see their slides without turning around. PTZ cameras captured the program for the private Zoom stream, so invited guests at home saw the speakers up close.
The look
Stage lighting kept speakers bright for the room and the cameras, while blue uplighting and draping finished the ballroom.
